Our commitment

HerbiGummy is committed to ensuring that herbigummy.com is accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We believe everyone deserves equal access to wellness information and our products. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our site and aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Standards we follow

We follow the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 defines requirements that make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. We target Level AA conformance.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML landmarks and headings for screen reader navigation
  • All images include descriptive alt text or are marked decorative
  • Full keyboard navigation support with visible focus indicators
  • ARIA labels on interactive elements (buttons, modals, menus)
  • Colour contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1 text)
  • Responsive design tested across mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • Skip-to-main-content link for keyboard and screen reader users
  • No time limits on user interactions without warning
  • Respects prefers-reduced-motion system preference
  • Form inputs labelled explicitly with <label> elements

Known limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some third-party integrations (including our payment provider, review widgets, and subscription management portal) may not fully meet these guidelines. We are actively working with our vendors to address known accessibility gaps and will update this statement as improvements are made.
